Natalia Tchitch
Viola
A violist of Russian origin, she has developed a wide range of solo and chamber music activity on the international scene. Her constant restlessness and professional activity has led her to live in several European cities, dedicating each stage of her career to different artistic facets.
Her passion and dedication to chamber music has led her to perform in the most important European festivals and projects; Santander, Verbier, Naples, Entrecasteaux, Sully and Montpellier among other international festivals.
She has shared the stage with artists such as Agustín Dumay, Alain Meunier, Gordan Nicolic, David Grimal, María João Pires, Gérard Causse, Silvia Marcovici, Isabelle Faust, Katia et Marielle Labeque and Jordi Savall among many other artists of her generation. Her multicultural background and love for pedagogy instilled in her by her family has led her to the goal of transmitting knowledge by dedicating herself to the training of new generations. Since 2002 she regularly gives masterclasses all over the world. She teaches at the Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco Musikene (San Sebastián).
Pavel Gomziakov
Cello
Born in Tchaikovsky, Russia, Pavel Gomziakov began his cello studies at a young age. His exceptional talent led him to refine his technique at prestigious institutions such as the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid and the Paris Conservatory, where he studied under the renowned cellist Philippe Muller.
His international debut with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 2010 marked a turning point in his career, establishing him as one of the most promising cellists of his generation. Since then, he has performed on the world's leading stages, collaborating with renowned orchestras such as the Orchestre National de France and the Japan Philharmonic.
Gomziakov is particularly renowned for his interpretations in the realm of chamber music. His duo with pianist Maria João Pires has been critically acclaimed, with performances in the most prestigious concert halls in Europe, Asia, and America. His recording of the complete works for cello and piano by Chopin, released by Deutsche Grammophon, received a Grammy nomination, solidifying his position as one of the most distinguished performers of our time.
He plays an exceptional David Tecchler cello from the 18th century, an instrument that enhances the beauty and depth of his sound. The combination of his innate talent, rigorous training, and exquisite instrument makes him one of the most outstanding cellists of his generation.


Tatiana Samouil
Violin
Tatiana has a multifaceted career: she plays as a soloist with the most prestigious orchestras, participates in festivals as a chamber musician all over the world and is a renowned teacher.
St. Petersburg, she studied in Moldova and then in Moscow. After meeting the legendary Igor Oistrakh, she became his pupil at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Brussels and moved to Belgium.
Winner of seven of the most famous international competitions (Queen Elisabeth, Tchaikovsky and Sibelius among them), she is regularly invited as a member of the jury of the Queen Elisabeth, Eugène Ysaye and Solo Violin Competition in Korea.
Having recorded 20 CDs, Samouil has received numerous prizes: ‘Diapason d'or’, ‘Choc de Classica’, Prix Caecilia, Jocker de Crescendo, etc. This season, she is performing in Paris, Berlin, Belo Horizonte, Bucharest, Madrid, Hong Kong.

Tatiana is a member of the jury of the prestigious Queen Elizabeth Prize. In 2024 she participated in the foundation of The NEWCO - New Chamber Orchestra, of which she is the conductor. The NEWCO brings together young talents and renowned musicians on stage.
Cristina Cordero
Viola
Cristina began playing the viola at the age of 5 and later trained under the tutelage of Professor Alan Kovacs. She obtained her Bachelor in Performing Arts with top marks at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich with Professor Hariolf Schlichtig. Later she studied the Master in Performance with Professor Nobuko Imai and Wenting Kang at the Escuela Reina Sofía in Madrid, where she received the title of ‘Most Outstanding Student’ on two consecutive occasions.
Passionate about chamber music, Cristina has participated in prestigious festivals and is regularly invited to collaborate with international ensembles and chamber groups. Cristina has been awarded in numerous viola and chamber music competitions, and has performed as a soloist with famous orchestras and in some of the most important halls in Spain such as the Teatro Real, the Palau de la Música Catalana, L'Auditori de Barcelona, the Auditorio Príncipe Felipe de Oviedo and the Auditorio Nacional de Madrid.
Her creative restlessness has led her to seek new ways to expand the repertoire of her instrument and to offer original proposals to modern audiences. In collaboration with the pianist Juan Barahona, they have created ‘Romeo and Juliet: Music and History’, a project that combines the music of Prokofiev's ballet with Shakespeare's unforgettable story.
In 2024, Cristina joined the prestigious Cuarteto Casals, a chamber ensemble with which she carries out an intense artistic activity that she combines with giving viola and chamber music masterclasses all over Europe.


Josu Okiñena
Practice-based research
He is a pianist and researcher awarded by the University of the Basque Country for his work on the work of Aita Donostia, who does not close the doors to a continuous search for new musical projects, supported by major record labels such as Warner and Sony Music. With his albums ‘Xuxurlak’ and the recently released ‘Aradak’ and ‘Xarmak’, Okiñena is carrying out a research project on Basque musical heritage: based on original manuscripts recovered in recent years and promoted all over the world by Okiñena in his international tours. A full member of the Sociedad Baskongada de Amigos del País, he has edited History the Basque Music, at the University of Reno, Nevada. His research essays on interpreting research, such as the one published by the University of Deusto in 2022, are especially remarkable.
He has taken part as a musical consultant in the production of a series of documentaries on Basque musicians produced by the Basque television group EITB.
He teaches at the Centro Superior de Música del País Vasco Musikene (San Sebastián).
