Pianist Josu Okiñena and txistulari Garikoitz Mendizabal present their new album, "Iragana Betikotzen" [Keeping the past alive], under the Ondare Music label, reaffirming their commitment to the recovery and dissemination of the musical heritage of Basque cappuccino composers.
As the title indicates, this work not only rescues compositions from the past, but also brings them to the public for the first time. All the pieces have been recorded for the first time and, in many cases, will be performed in concert for the first time ever.
