Information

The Viola and Piano Recital brings together the acclaimed violist Razvan Popovici and pianist Josu Okiñena in a program that is a musical journey through time. At the heart of the concert lies the festival's core connection: works by Aita Donostia (Dos canciones) and Maurice Ravel (Deux mélodies hébraïques). The repertoire expands from Basque (Guridi) and French (Fauré, Enescu) gems to the romantic intensity of Liszt and the fiery passion of Astor Piazzolla's Le grand tango. An essential journey through a fascinating repertoire.

Come to the Concert the Easiest, Most Comfortable Way, and Respect the Environment!

On Foot or by Bike (Our Favorite Option!)

The Church is located in a very central area of Donostia. If you live or are staying nearby, the best option to reduce our impact is to come by taking a walk or by bike.

  • Bike (DBizi): You have well-located public DBizi bike stations in the centre:
    • dBizi 6 (Arrasate St., 19): This is the station closest to the shopping centre (about a 5-minute walk).
    • Dbizi-2 (Boulevard Zumardia): Perfect if you are coming from the Old Town (Parte Vieja), the Victoria Eugenia Theatre, or the María Cristina Hotel.

By Bus (DBus)

This is the best option if you are coming from far away. You have multiple urban bus stops just a few steps from the Church:

  • Closest Stop (3 minutes away): Easo 27. This stop serves many main lines, such as 17, 21, 24, 26, 31, 36, and the night line B4.
  • Nearby Stop: Urbieta 6. Daylight lines: 16, 18, 19, 26, 31. Night lines (Búhos/Owls): B2, B7.

By Train or Intercity Bus

If you are coming from outside Donostia, you will arrive directly in the heart of the city:

  • Bus Station: The Central Bus Station (Lurraldebus) is about an 8-minute walk away.
  • Train (Renfe / Euskotren):
    • The North Station (Renfe) is about 10 minutes away.
    • The Amara Station (Euskotren) is 5 minutes away.

If You Come by Car

If you have no alternative, we encourage you to come with a full car. Sharing reduces the impact of your trip!
