PAVEL GOMZIAKOV
After his studies in Moscow, Madrid and Paris, he makes his acclaimed debut in the United States with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 2010. Pavel Gomziakov is one of the most sought-after chamber musicians of his generation. Together with the great pianist Maria Joao Pires, he has performed concerts all over the world. Under the Onyx label, he has recorded several CDs as a soloist - among them J. Haydn's Cello Concertos - and in duo with pianist Andreï Korobeinikov. Among his recordings with orchestras, C. Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No. 1 and R. Schumann's Cello Concerto stand out.
JOSU OKIÑENA
Josu Okiñena is a pianist and researcher awarded by the University of the Basque Country for his work on the work of Aita Donostia, who does not close the doors to his continuous search for new musical projects, supported by major record labels such as Warner and Sony Music. With his albums "Xuxurlak" and the recently released "Aradak", Okiñena carries out a research project on the Basque musical heritage: from original manuscripts recovered in recent years and promoted worldwide by Okiñena with an international tour.
He has edited History the Basque Music, at the University of Reno / Nevada.
