Information

Noelia Ibañez

The mezzo-soprano from Gasteiz took her first steps in lyrical singing at the National University of Music in Bucharest and later graduated from the Haute École de Musique in Geneva, where she received the Prix Spécial de la Ville de Genève 2018. In 2022 she also obtained the Concert Artist Diploma at the École Normale de Musique Alfred Cortot in Paris.

A multi-faceted young artist (also a cellist), in 2021 she was a laureate of the Fondation Malvina and Denise Menda (funds from the Fondation de France for young soloists) and in July 2022 she received the Third Prize of the Grand Prix de la Voix de la Voix de l'Hippodrome de Cagnes sur Mer. Since January 2022, Noelia has been a member of the team of young stagiaire artists at the Centre d'Art Lyrique dela Méditerranée and the Opéra de Nice. It is there that, in June 2022, she made her debut in the production of Babel by S. Monterisi and M. Thomas, giving life to the character of Gaïa.

Maider Ronquete

Born in Rentería, Gipuzkoa, she has always had a strong connection with the world of music. She completed her studies at the conservatory in her native town, and after years of activity in the choral world, her performances as a soloist stand out, performing Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" to great public and critical acclaim. Since 2010 she has been studying vocal technique with the teacher Almudena Ortega and vocal stylistics with Josu Okiñena. She has performed roles such as Zelmira, from Haydn's opera Armida, and currently combines her song and lied recitals with lyric roles such as Liu, Musetta and Lauretta by Puccini.

Franco Cavalleri

Originally from Montevideo, Uruguay, he has been involved in music since childhood. After studying with the concert pianist Carmen Navarro at the Escuela Universitaria de Música, he moved to the Basque Country and entered the Centro Superior de Música "Musikene". There she studied piano with Marta Zabaleta. She is currently specialising in the interpretation of the piano repertoire with the concert pianist Josu Okiñena in San Sebastian and with the concert pianist Hüseyin Sermet in Istanbul, both heirs to the interpretative technique of the master Maria Curcio in London.
