STEFANO ZANCHETTA
Venetian, violinist and violist, he also cultivated the study of piano and composition. Winner of numerous violin competitions, he has also won important chamber music prizes, such as at the Paris and Colmar competitions. His concert activity has led him to perform all over the world, in prestigious venues in Europe, the United States, Russia, Japan, Australia, China, Latin America and the Middle East.He has collaborated as a concertmaster with numerous orchestras, including the Orchestra of the Teatro La Fenice, the Orchestra of the RAI of Rome, the Orchestra Sinfonica Abruzzese, the Orchestra regionale di Udine, the Orchestra d'archi i taliana conducted by Mario Brunello. His interest in twentieth-century music led him to perform works such as Alban Berg's Kammerkonzert, Kurt Weill's Violin Concerto, Zandonai's Romantic Concerto and Alfred Schnittke's Concerto. With Claudio Scimone and I Solisti veneti he has participated in several concert tours of Tartini and Mendelssohn. Always in the field of Baroque music he has collaborated with I Virtuosi di Roma, the A. Vivaldi orchestra of Venice, founded by his Syrian maestro Piovesan. He has made numerous recordings with major labels.
MASSIMO SOMENZI
Winner of numerous prizes in national and international piano competitions, he studied in Venezia, at the "Mozarteum" in Salzburg and at the "Association Musicale de Paris" where he obtained a "Premier Prix" in Chamber Music.During his intense concert activity in chamber music ensembles with illustrious international instrumentalists, as a soloist and with orchestra, he has performed in the most prestigious halls in Italy, France, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Japan, the United States of America, Canada, China and the former Soviet Union. “His music is always in search of dialogue, of sharing the melodic and harmonic discoveries that must be highlighted for the pleasure of sound and listening. Even in music not frequented, its reading is mainly aimed at trying to reveal, with the conviction of those who believe in all music, secrets, embryos of ideas, refinements to be used later as elements to build sound architectures.»
